Some of the books and websites consulted in the preparattion of this site
I have consulted many websites and books on the subject of handedness in the preparation of this website, some to a greater extent than others, and some with more confidence than others in their accuracy and objectivity. Among that list are the following.

I have not included websites that require logins or memberships. Neither have I included websites devoted to 25 Amazing Facts About Left-Handed People, 10 Proven Benefits of Being Left-Handed, etc (although I will admit to reading some of them, just out of interest). I have, however, in a spirit of inclusiveness, included some Left-Handedness Advocacy/Help web-sites.

Books
  • Right Hand, Left Hand by Chris McManus (Weidenfeld & Nicholson, 2002)
  • The Left Stuff by Melissa Roth (M. Evans & Co, 2005)
  • A Left-Hand Turn Around The World by David Wolman (Da Capo Press, 2005)
  • The Puzzle of Left-Handedness by Rik Smits (Rekreation Books, 2010)
